Anthony J. "Tony" Specchio, a parishioner of Schuyler Catholic Community, was among 60 veterans who were recently inducted into the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame. Recipients of this honor were chosen based on service in combat or notable work performed after discharge from the service. Specchio is known locally for his service at military funerals and other activities, such as placing flags on veterans’ graves for Memorial Day.
