Bishop Salvatore R. Matano presided at the Sept. 6 Red Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. During the annual liturgy, requests are made for divine assistance on behalf of judges, lawyers and others associated with the legal community. Following the Mass, a reception sponsored by the St. Thomas More Lawyers Guild took place in the cathedral’s narthex.
