The diocesan Office of Liturgy and the Diocesan Music Committee will sponsor a “Women of Spirit” Day of Reflection and Renewal for Women with Jeanne Cotter from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Rectory Hall. The cost is $40 per person and includes lunch.
Participants will ponder what it means to be women of spirit in the church today, what it means to be women of spirit as a species and in society, and how women can take care of themselves in the midst of the reality of the church, society and personal lives. Cotter is a storyteller, pianist, liturgical composer and retreat leader whose background is in music and liturgy, combined with graduate studies in psychology and spirituality.
