Restaurant to make fish fry donations

A local restaurant is pledging to give area churches a boost with every fish fry it sells on Fridays during Lent.

Gigi’s Italian Kitchen and Catering, 1770 Ridge Road East in Irondequoit, is offering to donate $2 to a designated church for each fish fry purchased. The offer is good on dine-in, take-out and catering orders, and on lunch and dinner, but no other discounts apply. When purchasing fish fries, customers will be asked to fill out a card designating the church to help.

The program is aimed at helping area churches, and also is intended to help spread the word about the restaurant’s fish fry. The restaurant is run by Patty Pulver, Nick Ryck and Ben Ryck, who are parishioners of St. Cecilia in Irondequoit.
