St. Alphonsus Church is offering a retreat led by Capuchin Father Simeon Gallagher Oct. 7-10 at the parish, 85 E. Genesee St. in Auburn.
Father Gallagher will be at Masses Oct. 5-6 to promote the retreat, which has the theme "A Theology and Spirituality for Relationships." Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Oct. 7-10 with an amended retreat presentation. The entire retreat will take place Oct. 7-10 in the church at 7 p.m.
Father Gallagher will speak on the following topics:
* Oct. 7: "Sustaining Good Relationships: Faith as Foundation"
* Oct. 8: "Communication in Relationships: Prayer as Model"
* Oct. 9: "Breaking Relationships: Sin as Interpersonal"
* Oct. 10: "Building Better Relationships: Graces for Growth"
A supper will be held Oct. 7 to kick off the retreat. Participants will gather at 5:30 p.m. and will eat at 6 p.m. Those wishing to attend the supper are asked to bring a dish to pass and to let the parish know for seating purposes.
