Notre Dame Retreat House, located at 5151 Foster Road in Canandaigua, will offer many ways for visitors to spend time with the Lord this fall and winter.
The theme for the remaining 2008 retreats is "Understanding St. Paul: A Realistic Guide for Today’s Catholics, or Knocked Off His Horse: St. Paul for Dummies." Women’s retreat weekends will be offered Sept. 5-7, Oct. 3-5 and Oct. 24-26. Men’s retreat weekends will be offered Sept. 12-14, Sept. 19-21, Oct. 17-19 and Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
The retreat house also will offer special days of prayer Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10. Each of those days will begin at 9 a.m. with a breakfast of doughnuts and muffins, followed by morning prayer at 9:30. The morning also will include opportunities for prayer. Lunch will be available at noon for $15. Confessions will be heard at 1 p.m., and Mass will start at 2 p.m.
