Right-to-life group sets talk on abortion victims

The director of an abortion-victims advocacy group will speak from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Holy Cross Parish Center, 4492 Lake Ave., Charlotte.

Olivia Gans, director of the American Victims of Abortion, will speak on “Silent Tears and Broken Hearts — The Legacy of Legal Abortion in America.” Gans suffered an acute emotional reaction to the abortion she had as college student.

Gans has spoken in the U.S. and Europe on post-abortion syndrome and has testified at state and federal legislative hearings on informed-consent laws, parental-notification laws and abortion complications.

The talk, which is being hosted by Rochester Area Right to Life, is free and open to the public. For details, call 585/621-4690.
