Rochester agency seeks donors to bring holiday joy to clients

This year through Catholic Family Center’s Share the Joy program, formerly known as the Adopt-a-Family program, people may provide clothes, toys, gift cards and other items to clients served through the agency’s various programs.

Those wanting to participate in the Share the Joy program should visit , where they may choose how they want to participate.

A donor interested in sponsoring a family may scroll through a list that provides such basic information as the number of people in each family, each family member’s clothing and shoe sizes and the children’s specific interests and wish-list items.

Unwrapped gifts must be dropped off to designated locations between Dec. 6 and Dec. 10.

People who would like to participate in Share the Joy but are unable to sponsor families may purchase items from Catholic Family Center’s Amazon wish list, which contains children’s toys as well as items for clients in the agency’s community residences. These items will be shipped directly to Catholic Family Center. Donors also may purchase items for men in Catholic Family Center’s homeless shelter or donate Price Rite or Aldi gift cards for families in need.
