Jack Balinsky, former director of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Rochester, was honored with a retirement reception at the Ramada Lakefront Hotel in Geneva June 16. Before his retirement at the end of 2021, Balinsky had served Catholic Charities in upstate New York for 50 years, with 30 of those years serving the Rochester Diocese. To honor Balinsky’s legacy, Catholic Charities has created two funds, the Jack Balinsky Emergency Assistance Fund and the Jack Balinsky Endowment Fund.
