Rochester Diocese invites young adults to learn more about saints

Young adults ages 18-39 are invited to learn more about the saints and the parishes that bear their names as part of a new discussion series sponsored by Diocese of Rochester’s Office of Evangelization and Catechesis and hosted by parish young-adult groups throughout the diocese.

The first evening of “Parking Lots & Patron(esse)s” took place July 22 at St. Pius Tenth Church in Chili. The series will continue July 29 at St. Patrick Church, 115 Maple Ave., Victor, and Aug. 12 at St. Leo Church, 167 Lake Ave., Hilton. Both evenings will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The series will be conducted in the parking lots of the churches. Young adults are invited to sit in their trunks or bring chairs and sit outside their vehicles. Masks must be worn, and attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks.

The evenings will be livestreamed on the Diocese of Rochester Young Adult Facebook page for those unable to attend or uncomfortable attending in person.
