The Diocese of Rochester was presented with a first-class relic of Blessed Fulton J. Sheen during a Sept. 29 Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. Bishop Louis Tylka, bishop of Blessed Sheen’s native Diocese of Peoria, Ill., presented the relic and served as homilist for the Mass, which came five days after Blessed Sheen was beatified in St. Louis.
