St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, which is the center of worship for the Polish community in Rochester, raised $5,887 to help a Catholic parish in Poland that is assisting refugees escaping Ukraine.

The funds were raised during a special collection at Masses the weekend of March 5 and 6 as well as online. The monetary donations will be sent to the Parish of the Protection of Our Lady in Załużne, which is 15 miles from the Ukrainian border. The parish is currently hosting more than 50 Ukrainian refugees.

St. Stanislaus Kostka Church will continue to collect funds as long as necessary. To donate, visit www.osvhub.com/saint-stanislaus-rochester/funds/help-ukraine.
