All youth and adults in the diocese are invited to lace up their running or walking shoes and take part in 21st-annual Run for the Young May 6.
The 5K run and the one-mile fun run/walk will start at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road.
The cost to participate in the 5K is $20 until May 3 or $25 the day of the race. The fun run/walk is $10 until May 3 or $15 the day of the event. To register online, visit www.active.com or http://youth.dor.org/opportunities/run-for-the-young.
Proceeds benefit the Bishop Matthew Clark Youth Advocacy Fund, which provides opportunities for Catholic teens to attend diocesan and national youth events.
