Running without fear

I went for a run yesterday evening.

I went for that run because it was a glorious day with a shining sun.

I went for that run because my sneakers, my muscles and the path were begging for a run.

I went for that run because I have two legs.

I went for that run because I have no valid excuses.

I went for that run because I have seen from other runners how much good they do for the world, raising money on a weekly basis and motivating themselves and others to lead healthy lives.

I went for that run because I have hope.

I went for that run because I am not afraid — of death, of terror, of the evil in this world.

I went for that run because my light shines brighter than the darkness.
