Sainthood of Mother Teresa

To the editor:

By your example of love the world will know you soon as St. Teresa. On September 4, 2016, you will be declared a Saint. As a Mother you not only fed the poor, you gave them true love. You showed them the sacred heart of Jesus and the immaculate heart of Mary as you did the Father’s will on earth.

You cared for the downtrodden just as Jesus did by offering Himself upon a wooden cross. You now reside in the house of the Lord. You are part of the tree of life. You worked endlessly through heat, rain, smells; suffering and most likely worn out from lack of sleep. Yet you were like the "little train that could." You did everything for your earthly and heavenly spouse Jesus Christ.

The Lord was at your side for no harm came to you. He guided you and guarded you like a good shepherd. He not only fed you His body and blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist, you became one with Him. Your souls intermingled and you became the body of Christ Jesus here on earth.

Your complete charity for your neighbor was the gospel lived out here on earth. Your love for God’s children flowed like a stream in springtime. You were not afraid as the song "Be Not Afraid," rang throughout your life. As a good and faithful servant you were chosen by the Holy Spirit and sent home to your heavenly maker.
