Sale benefits pro-life efforts

Finger Lakes Area Right to Life will hold its annual Mother’s Day carnation sale before and after the May 13-14 Masses at several local churches.

Carnations will be sold for $1 apiece or six for $5 at the following churches:

• St. Stephen Church, 48 Pulteney St., Geneva

• St. Francis de Sales Church, 130 Exchange St., Geneva

• St. Mary Church, 35 Center St., Waterloo

• St. Patrick Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls

• St. Francis Church, 12 Church St., Phelps

• St. Felix Church, 12 Hibbard Ave., Clifton Springs

Proceeds from last year’s carnation sale supported the pro-life efforts at the Family Hope Center, located at 551 Exchange St. in Geneva. Formerly known as the Care Net Pregnancy Care Center of the Finger Lakes, the Family Hope Center serves women during crisis pregnancies. Proceeds from last year’s carnation sale also enabled students from Tyburn Academy in Auburn and St. Francis-St. Stephen School in Geneva to participate in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.
