Santa Misión, the annual revival-style mission for the Latino Catholic community, took place Aug. 8-12 outside Rochester’s Holy Apostles Church. Maria del Carmen Serrano Ayala and Antonio Quiñones Burgos, preachers from Hermanos Cheos, a ministry group from Puerto Rico, led each night’s talk and prayer. An Aug. 12 Mass celebrated by Bishop Matthew H. Clark marked the close of the mission.
