The Valley Affair ’07 dinner/auction, a major fundraiser for Holy Family School, will take place Saturday, June 9, at the Dansville Fish and Game Club.
The school’s first Trinity Award will be presented that night to Clare Van Durme Cooper of Dansville, honoring her dedication to Catholic education and service to her church and community. Van Durme Cooper is a member of Holy Family Parish and serves as an extraordinary minister of holy Communion as well as a member of the Cursillo Community. She also has longtime leadership roles with the Dansville Sports Booster Club and Genesee Valley Rotary Club, and is a member of the Red Cross Disaster Assistance Team. In addition, she is the founder of C.A.N.N. (Community Answers Needs Network), a local organization that assists people in need.
Tickets to The Valley Affair are available at Holy Family School, 43 Elizabeth St., Dansville. Admission is $35 per person. Holy Family educates students in grades pre-kindergarten through 5, and registration for 2007-08 is ongoing.
