Students at St. Joseph School in Penfield kicked off Fire Prevention Week with a visit from Penfield Fire Department personnel on Oct. 7. Each grade received a 30-minute fire safety lesson that included a “stop, drop, and roll” demonstration and rehearsal. Then, each student toured the fire truck and had a turn spraying the fire hose.
