School plans 155th anniversary events

St. Mary’s School in Canandaigua will celebrate its 155th anniversary Nov. 26-27.

Alumni are encouraged to reminisce and view memorabilia at an open house from 6-7 p.m. Nov. 26. Following the open house, alumni are welcome to participate in or cheerlead for the alumni basketball game, which begins at 7 p.m.

The parish community and school alumni are invited to join together in celebration of Advent and the school’s anniversary at the 5 p.m. Mass Nov. 27. Alumni will be recognized at the Mass. There will be a homecoming dinner at the Lakeshore House at 6 p.m., complete with door prizes and a dessert buffet.

Alumni are also invited to march in Canandaigua’s Memorial Day parade with St. Mary’s School on May 30 and to celebrate with the school’s 155th graduating class at the graduation ceremony June 17.
