Schools offer stimulating, caring environment

In preparation for a new academic year to nurture our children spiritually, academically, socially and personally, I pray that each of you have enjoyed the summer. Our collective hope is that our students are invigorated when they return to grow in faith and embrace the zeal that a new school year creates.

Each of our Diocese of Rochester Catholic schools provides a caring, secure and stimulating learning environment. Our Catholic-school teachers are deeply committed to the spiritual and educational mission of our schools. Throughout this past year, I witnessed students learning life lessons that they will carry beyond the classroom. While our schools have compelling offerings that make each one of them unique, there are various extracurricular activities. Some examples include: art club, CYO sports, drama club, Lego League, science club and many more options for students.

We know that our families are our greatest treasure within our Catholic-school communities. I am grateful for their commitment and the many ways they make our schools very special places indeed.

If you attended or have children attending a Catholic school, please discuss your experience with friends and family. If you would like more information about any of our schools, please visit

May God bless you and your family throughout the upcoming school year!
