Schools welcome visitors for Catholic Schools Week
Three Catholic schools in the Finger Lakes region are inviting the public to take a look at their offerings during this year’s Catholic Schools Week, which runs from Jan. 31 through Feb. 4.
St. Michael’s School, 320 S. Main St., Newark, will hold an open house at 7 p.m. on Feb. 3.
St. Joseph’s School, 89 E. Genesee St., Auburn, will hold an open house Feb. 7. Interested parents can tour the school between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. An information night for parents of preschool- and kindergarten-aged children will begin at 6 p.m., and a similar session for parents of middle-school students will begin at 6:45 p.m.
St. Mary’s School, 16 Gibson St., Canandaigua, also invites parents of potential students to visit the school during Catholic Schools Week. Registration will take place at the school 12-3 p.m. Feb 1, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Feb. 2, and 2:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
All three schools offer pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade classes.
