The Diocese of Rochester announced Monday afternoon, Nov. 5, that Most Rev. Robert J. Cunningham, apostolic administrator of the diocese, has approved a second collection in diocesan faith communities to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Hurricane Sandy was a devastating event causing tragic loss of life and widespread damage.
The collection will take place the weekend of Nov. 17/18 in most parishes, although some may conduct it Nov. 10/11 depending on their schedules.
