To the editor:
The slain priest Jacques Hamel as he prepared the Mass of Jesus’ last supper (on July 26 was) martyred for his belief of Jesus. Just as St. Thomas Becket was murdered in his church at the foot of the altar so was Father Jacques Hamel. The priest was slain in the house of the Lord.
He was redeemed and called home to his creator and savior Jesus Christ in whom was crucified. Washed in the blood of the lamb. The Mass and the transubstantiation which Father Jacques bringing Christ to the altar and bringing down the Holy Spirit and through God’s power and the priest holy hands turning bread to the body of Christ and the wine turned into Christ’s blood.
He reached His holy death and new birth through his death. Now a Saint we can pray to him to end terrorism in the world in which we live.
