A seminar on understanding Alzheimer’s disease will take place Sunday, Oct. 14, in the community room of the Southeast Steuben County Public Library. It will begin at 1 p.m.
The program, sponsored by All Saints Parish, is free and open to all caregivers, family members and others who are connected to people with Alzheimer’s disease. It will include discussion on diagnosis and treatment, communication techniques, behavior interventions and resources useful for caregivers. The presenter will be the Rev. Todd R. Goddard, a full-time faculty member with the Learning Institute of the Alzheimer’s Association.
