Mary Szlosek, a former Victor Central Schools principal, has been named as the new principal at Seton Catholic School in Brighton. She replaces Linda Moll.
A committee of two parents, two teachers and two parishioners chose Szlosek from a pool of five candidates, according to information in the Aug. 23 bulletin for Our Lady of Lourdes/St. Anne parishes.
Szlosek, who is a parishioner of Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford, was a teacher in the Livonia Central School District for 12 years and worked 11 years as a principal at Victor Intermediate School.
