Several Finger Lakes parishes will hold dinners

Several parishes in the Finger Lakes region will be holding dinners in the next few weeks.

The Bishop Joseph L. Hogan Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold a Columbus Day pasta dinner at St. Dominic Parish from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at St. Dominic Church, 97 W. Main St. in Shortsville. Take-out meals will be available, and tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets may be purchased for $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 7 and younger. Children under 3 may eat for free. For more information, contact St. Dominic Parish at 585-289-4164.

St. Mary Parish in Auburn will hold its monthly pasta dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14 in Schrader Hall, 15 Clark St. The meal includes pasta, meatballs and sauce, salad, Italian bread, dessert and a beverage. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Take-out meals will be available. For more information, contact St. Mary Parish at 315-252-9545.

Our Lady of the Snow Parish in Weedsport and St. Michael Parish in Lyons will each be holding dinners on Election Day, which is Nov. 4. Our Lady of the Snow’s annual Election Day Pasta Dinner will be held at St. Joseph Church, 8831 S. Seneca St. in Weedsport. For more information, contact the parish at 315-834-6266.

St. Michael will hold an Election Day pulled-pork lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and a pulled-pork dinner from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. Each meal will include a pulled-pork sandwich, coleslaw, baked beans and applesauce. Tickets may be purchased for $8 for adults and $5 for children between 6 and 12 years old. Children 5 and younger may eat for free. To purchase tickets, contact the parish at 315-946-4182.
