A new method for the religious formation of children, called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, is being offered at several parishes throughout the Diocese of Rochester.

The newest Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atrium -- or classroom -- in the Diocese of Rochester’s parishes is the Auburn Catholic Community’s Our Lady of Hope Atrium, which is opening this month.

To learn more about the program at this atrium, contact Ann Fallon at olhopeatrium@gmail.com.

Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford also plans to open an atrium in the fall. Contact the parish at 585-248-2427 for more information.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd also is currently offered at the following parishes:

• Church of the Holy Spirit, 1355 Hatch Road, Webster, 585-671-5520.

• St. John the Evangelist Parish, 58 Amity St., Spencerport, 585-352-5481.

• St. Patrick Parish, 115 Maple Ave., Victor, 585-924-7111.
