Individuals and groups are invited to join several upcoming public prayer events in the Southern Tier.
The 40 Days for Life fall campaign, being held in Ithaca and Corning, is set to begin Sept. 28 and will run through Nov. 6. Peaceful prayer is taking place daily across from Planned Parenthood facilities at 620 W. Seneca St., Ithaca; and 35 W. Williams St., Corning. All are encouraged to take part in the initiative, which is part of an international effort to end abortion. For details on Ithaca’s 40 Days for Life, visit www.40daysforlife.com/ithaca.
