Dmitri House, 102 N. Union St., Rochester, is seeking volunteers to help with the operation of its men’s winter emergency shelter, which will open Nov. 1. Volunteers at the seven-bed shelter arrive at 9 p.m. and leave at 7 a.m., and prepare and offer an evening snack, breakfast, hospitality and conversation.
