‘Sick’ over reintroduction of abortion bill

To the editor:

I am once again “sick” about the new Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection Act .

I did write our Assemblyman Brian Kolb and also received in his reply yesterday, “Assembly Bill 11484 or the Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection Act (RHAPP) would amend New York’s abortion-rights law by legalizing late-term abortions, enabling hospitals and health care professionals to perform these abortions.”

As a convert to the abortion issue and now a member of Feminists Choosing Life of NYS, I cannot believe with scientific evidence — ultrasound, operations on children in the womb, etc. — and a true compassion for women in a crisis pregnancy that ANY health agency in America could advocate such a horrific law that would actually legally kill a living child in the womb who could breathe on its own.

We truly are a schizophrenic society when prenatal hospital units work hard to keep a premature baby alive AND then in another hospital area we may be killing these same brothers and sisters of mankind.

Please email or write your assemblyman and state senator TODAY about this injustice and ask them to vote NO on RHAPP!!
