Later, she taught respite for caregivers, was a family caregiver consultant and chaired the committee working on the GRG Initiative of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas in the New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community (NyPPaW). Most recently, she was a member of the NyPPaW Health and Wellness Committee.

Sister Maloy is survived by her brothers, Bob of Sausalito, Calif., and Dan (Sheral) of Fort Collins, Colo.; her twin sister, Alice (Ken) Clasgens, and sister Kitty (Jim) Maloy Mandile of Rochester; many nieces, nephews and friends; and her sisters in the congregation.
