From 1945-57 she taught grammar school at Holy Apostles, and Corpus Christi in Rochester and Mother of Sorrows in Greece. In 1957 she went to Auburn to teach English at Mount Carmel High School. From 1966-75 she served as secretary to the president of the congregation. Sister Michaud then went to Rochester’s Nazareth Academy, where she was the school librarian and media specialist.

In 1989 she assumed the position of congregational archivist and director of the Religious Life Resource Center. There she organized decades worth of congregational history until her retirement in 2005.
