The Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester celebrated 162 years of service with a public proclamation held outside of Rochester’s St. Boniface Convent June 24. Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and Marlene Bessette, president and CEO of Catholic Family Center, shared remarks on the sisters’ commitment to serving the community. Following the proclamation, the sisters spent the rest of the morning participating in service projects throughout the area.
