Several local leaders recognized the Sisters of St. Joseph June 26 in celebration of the order’s 375th anniversary since its founding in Le Puy, France. Official proclamations were presented by Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, Rochester Deputy Mayor Michael Burns and Pittsford Town Supervisor William Smith Jr. in honor of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester’s many contributions to the community.
