Support Our Aging Religious will honor two individuals at the organization’s annual gala dinner Oct. 3 at Tavern on the Green in New York City.
Bishop Arthur Serratelli of the Diocese of Paterson, N.J., will receive the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award in recognition of his profound dedication to God’s people, his commitment to promoting vocations, and his empowerment of men and women religious in service to God’s people.
Benedictine Sister Jacinta Fernandes, founder of St. Joseph Social Services in Elizabeth, N.J., will receive the Father Yanitelli Award in recognition of her ministry to the poorest of the poor.
