Spots still open for World Youth Day trip

Openings are still available for a pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Cologne, Germany, from Aug. 16-21.

Leading the trip will be Father Brian Cool, who serves as Catholic chaplain at the University of Rochester. Pope Benedict XVI, a native of Germany, is scheduled to highlight the event with an appearance. World Youth Day was begun in 1985 by the late Pope John Paul II and is held every two to three years. The most recent World Youth Day took place in Toronto in 2002.

Young adults are encouraged to contact Father Cool at 585/275-8523.
