Sister M. Alicine Fox, 88, of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, died
Oct. 29, 2003, at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Conn.
Born in Savona, N.Y., she received her bachelor’s degree in
education from Seton Hall University. She taught in Massachusetts,
Connecticut, New Jersey and New York state. In the Diocese of
Rochester, she taught at Holy Family School in Rochester.
Sister Fox in survived by her sister, Sister of St. Joseph Marie
Xavier of Rochester; her niece, Joan Kendall of Dansville; grandnieces
and grandnephews; and her sisters in the congregation. A Mass of
Christian Burial was celebrated on Nov. 1 in the congregation’s
motherhouse in Bethel, Conn., with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery,
Bethel.
