Sister M. Rose Curtin (Sister Rose Lima) of the School Sisters of Notre Dame died on June 28, 2003, at the Lourdes Health Center in Wilton, Conn. She was 82.
 
Sister Curtin was active for more than 60 years as a teacher, pastoral minister, administrator and director of religious education prior to her retirement in May 2003. Her assignments included teaching at St. Boniface (1940-46) and St. Michael (1959-61) schools, both in Rochester.
 
Sister Curtin is survived by her niece, Judy (Frank) Jamusz of Williamsville, N.Y.; and her nephews, John Curtin of Buffalo, Gerard Curtin (Lindsay) of Ontario, Robert Curtin of Tonawanda and Edward Curtin of Woolrich, Maine.
 
Her funeral liturgy was held on July 1 in the Provincial Motherhouse Chapel, Wilton, Conn., with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel, Conn. Memorials may be made to SSND Development Fund, Wilton, CT 06897.
