The Sisters of St. Joseph’s new leadership team began a new four-year term June 23.
Sister Mary Louise Mitchell succeeded Sister Janice Morgan as president. She was joined by Sisters Eileen Day, Marilyn Pray, Barbara Staropoli and Elaine Hollis.
In a goodbye letter as she concluded her term, Sister Morgan reflected on the congregation’s decision to build a new motherhouse, its ministries, and its Masses and monthly “Prayer for Our Times.”
“Our congregation’s journey — all that we have been able to do and accomplish — would not have been the same if you had not walked with us,” Sister Morgan wrote to the congregation.
