St. Agnes School will kick off the Race to Educate with Heart and Soul, a new fundraising 5K run and one-mile fun run and walk, at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the school, 60 Park Place in Avon.
Parking for the event is available at St. Agnes Church. Proceeds will be used to keep Catholic education available, accessible and affordable to all Livingston County and southern Monroe County families.
The race will be electronically timed to provide immediate race results. Free T-shirts will be available to all 5K runners who register by Sept. 6. Medals will be given to all top finishers in each 5K group, and ribbons will be given to all children who participate.
Those unable to participate may sponsor a student with a race pledge; for details, call 585-226-8500.
