First-grade technology students at St. Agnes School, Avon, have been corresponding in a variety of ways with students from the Kibera neighborhood, a slum section of Nairobi, Kenya.
St. Agnes sent a "care package" of school sweatshirts, cards and treats, and is planning a fundraiser to help its Kenyan friends toward building a playground since many of the children noted in their e-mails that they do not have one.
