St. Ann’s Community announces new CEO

Michael E. McRae, executive vice president and chief operating officer of St. Ann’s Community in Rochester, will be the next president and chief executive officer when current president and CEO Betty Mullin-DiProsa retires in April 2014, St. Ann’s announced June 26.

McCrea joined St. Ann’s Community in 2010 as senior vice president and administrator.

Mullin-DiProsa, who in May announced her plans to retire in 2014, joined St. Ann’s Community in March 1997 and has helped the organization transition from a traditional skilled-nursing facility to being Rochester’s largest senior-housing and long-term care system. The organization occupies two campuses in Irondequoit and Webster, serves nearly 3,000 people annually and has 1,200 employees.
