St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Pittsford will graduate 33 candidates from the Diocese of Rochester and Albany during the school’s 31st commencement ceremonies at 4:30 p.m. May 11 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester.
Father James P. Lang, the Diocese of Syracuse’s episcopal vicar for parishes, will address candidates. An honorary doctorate of divinity also will be conferred on Bishop Matthew H. Clark.
Candidates have worked toward masters of arts in theological studies, masters of arts in pastoral studies, masters of divinity, graduate certificates in pastoral studies, and diocesan certificates in youth ministry, catechetical leadership, business management, and in pastoral services for the Hispanic population from El Instituto de Pastoral Hispano.
