St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Rochester will host a program on Africa and Operation Rice Bowl on Thursday, March 2, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The program will feature members of the African community and Catholic Relief Services staff. It will be simulcast to St. Mary of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen and St. Alphonsus Church in Auburn. For information, call Sister of Mercy Janet Korn at 585/328-3228, ext. 1287.
Operation Rice Bowl is a Lenten program of prayer, fasting, learning and giving through which U.S. Catholics give millions of dollars each year to fight poverty and hunger at home and abroad.
