St. Bonaventure University will honor Bishop Matthew H. Clark and two other Rochester community leaders with Gaudete Medals April 10 at its awards dinner at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center as part of its 150th-anniversary celebration.
In addition to Bishop Clark, others being honored are Arunas Chesonis, chief executive officer of PAETEC Holding Corp., and James G. Gould, Class of 1980, president of Alesco Advisors. The medals honor business and community leaders who exemplify the spirit of St. Francis through their joy, hope, positive outlook on life, compassionate spirit and desire to serve humankind.
Individual tickets to the dinner are $150, and corporate tables also are available. Proceeds will go to the university’s scholarship fund.
