St. Cecilia Church in Irondequoit is seeking former students of St. Cecilia Catholic School, a kindergarten to eighth-grade school that served more than 1,400 students and their families between 1952 and 1991. The church in June formed an alumni association to reconnect school alumni for the first time since the school closed 15 years ago.
The association plans to hold a Mass at 5 p.m. Nov. 25 for alumni followed by a 6 p.m. reception in the church’s Newcomb Friendship Center. The association hopes to invite more than 180 alumni to the event.
