St. John parishioner plans trip to shrines

Margaret Colasurdo, a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Clyde, is organizing a July pilgrimage to three Canadian shrines. The pilgrimage will begin July 4, and participants will visit the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Cape and St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal before returning July 9.

The cost of the trip is $305, and this fee includes the bus trip, rooms and three buffet breakfasts. The bus will leave from Rochester at 6 a.m. and from Clyde at 7 a.m. July 4. Each participant must bring his or her birth certificate and driver’s license, and anyone who is not an American citizen will need to bring his or her papers.

For more information, contact Colasurdo at 315/923-3261.
