St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira recently made several shifts within its management team. Sister Marie Castagnaro, SSJ, president and CEO, announced the following changes:
* Albert Barto, to chief operating officer.
* Joseph Braunscheidel, to vice president of operational services, with responsibility for Madison Avenue Pharmacy and the areas of alcohol/substance abuse, chronic dialysis, emergency services, environmental services, food and nutrition, and mental-health service and systems.
* Mark Dworsky, to vice president of clinical services, overseeing the clinical engineering, clinical-support services, case management, communications, laboratory and surgical-services departments.
* Diane Marvin, RN, to vice president of nursing, overseeing the hospital’s acute dialysis, skilled-nursing facility, C4, D2, D3, E2, and ICU acute-care units along with duties overseeing hospital supervision, performance-improvement development and staff development.
