St. Leo Parish in Hilton is beginning to host teen-oriented Masses as part of the LIFE TEEN program. The parish is the third in the diocese to offer the LIFE TEEN programs and Masses. The other parishes are Fairport’s Church of the Assumption and Rochester’s St. Andrew/Church of the Annunciation.
Masses will be on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., and teens will meet after the Mass to discuss issues, learn and have fun from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
LIFE TEEN includes more than 60,000 teens in more than 600 churches around the world. The program is centered around the Catholic Mass and makes faith come alive for teens through Life Nights, Bible study, prayer groups, retreats, outreach, and various social and sports activities.
Masses will be at 6 p.m. Sunday evening and are open to worshippers of all ages. The services will feature lively music from the newly formed worship band “Hearts Ablaze.” For details about LIFE TEEN at St. Leo Church, call Michelle Pechie at 585-392-2710.
